About Us

Camera Repair Kurt's Camera Repair, Inc. began operation in San Diego, California in 1975. Kurt's Camera Repair quickly established itself as a highly reliable camera repair shop that provides unquestionable quality repair and exceptional customer service for the photo community. Shortly after opening, the manufacturers; Nikon, Canon and Minolta became convinced of Kurt's professionalism, quality of service and reliability to the degree that all three manufacturers established Kurt's Camera Repair as their authorized service center for the southern California area.

Subsequently Kurt's Camera Repair contracted with the Kodak Company to become an authorized service center for their audiovisual products. Olympus and 3M followed in making Kurt's an authorized service center for their products. From the beginning, the technicians at Kurt's Camera Repair have been trained at these and several other factories to assure nothing but the highest quality and expert repair service for your equipment.

Kurt's Camera Repair maintains established accounts for ongoing repair service with many companies and organizations such as city and county Police and Fire Departments, school districts, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Army plus numerous camera dealers.
